Ready for Texas after First Win

Brandon Jones: “The win in Kansas is exactly what our iK9 Musket Powder team needed as we begin to close out the year. It gives us a lot of momentum going to Texas, which is a race that I already felt pretty confident about. We had an extremely good car at Texas earlier this spring—we were able to carry a lot of speed and had a strong setup, so I’m confident that our No. 19 team will have a good starting point for this weekend. The biggest key to a good race at Texas is making sure you can really hold the bottom line. The track is beginning to weather and that process usually brings in some other lines, so maybe we’ll begin to see some other lines come in.”
