Brandon will be returning to Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) for five races in the No. 51 Tundra during the 2019 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) season with races at Dover (May 3), Kansas (May 10), Chicagoland (June 28), Kentucky (July 11) and Phoenix (November 8).
While driving five races for KBM In 2018 Jones recorded three top-five and four top-10 finishes. Since debuting in the truck series August of 2013 he has recorded three runner-up, 10 top-five and 19 top-10 finishes across 40 starts. A full-time Xfinity series driver for Joe Gibbs Racing, he has registered two poles, three top-five and 34 top-10 finishes across 104 career Xfinity Series starts.
“We came close last year with four top-10 finishes in our five races, and I think we’re poised to have an even better run this year. I’m excited by the possibilities that come with working with Rudy Fugle and the No. 51 team. Rudy is proven winner on the track with over 20 wins and four championships; I’m sure I’ll learn a lot from him and I think there will be valuable cross over benefits that I can take to our efforts in the No. 19 Xfinity Series Toyota Supra at Joe Gibbs Racing.”
