Looking for the Game Plan to Win in Kansas

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: The NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) is coming off a down weekend and is heading to Kansas Speedway. Brandon Jones has had two strong finishes in his two NXS career-starts there. Game Plan for Life recently teamed up with the College at Southeastern and the North Carolina Department of Public Safety to launch the North Carolina Field Minister Program. The program is a fully paid, four-year Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry with a secondary emphasis on counseling. Inmates serving sentences ranging from 15 years to life sentences are eligible to apply for the program. In the first year of the program, 30 inmates were accepted as students into the program. 30 additional students will be accepted into the program each year, until reaching full capacity at 120 students.

Brandon Jones: “Having an off week has helped me prepare tremendously for this weekend’s upcoming race at Kansas Speedway. Kansas has been a good track for us in the past, so I think there is a lot of potential for our No. 19 Game Plan for Life Toyota team to run really well there. The thing I enjoy most about this track in particular is that the groove moves around a lot, which leads to some really fun racing for us as drivers.”

Chris Gabehart: “Kansas has been a great track for JGR and our team over the last couple of years and is a track that I think Brandon will excel at. With our playoffs coming to an end, we look forward to going to Kansas to send a statement that we intend to finish the year strong.”
