From the Cockpit:
Brandon Jones: “Getting my best road course finish at Watkins Glen last weekend has the entire No. 19 Menards/Atlas team confident going into Mid-Ohio. While they’re both road courses, Mid-Ohio is very different from Watkins Glen because of the track’s unique characteristics and drive style. There are a lot of elevation changes and the corners require a lot of discipline and focus. While this is the road course where I’ve gotten the most track time over the years, there’s still a lot of prep work that we’ll do to get ready for this weekend. In addition to working with the TRD simulator, I’ll also be competing in the Trans-Am race on Saturday afternoon just before the Xfinity race. I think that extra seat time will be really beneficial for us.”

From the Pit Box:
Chris Gabehart: “Everyone on the No.19 Menard/Atlas Toyota Camry team is excited to go into Mid-Ohio this weekend with our first top-10 of the road course season under our belts leaving Watkins Glen. Brandon has been putting a lot of effort into improving his road course expertise and that will continue this weekend by running the TA2 race at Mid-Ohio. Between that experience and our cars, I feel Brandon will have an excellent shot at a top-10 this weekend and possibly a top-five finish.”
