Looking for Momentum in Michigan

He has posted some pretty lofty numbers there in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) and ARCA Racing Series. He will also be running in ARCA this weekend where he has an impressive two starts, two consecutive career-wins and a pole. He plans on using his momentum and success to shoot for wins in both series and challenging for a three-peat in the ARCA Racing Series. From the Cockpit
Brandon Jones: “After running the new aero package at Pocono, I have a lot of confidence that we have a good understanding of how we need to approach this weekend at Michigan. Michigan is a track where I have been successful with both the ARCA Racing Series and the Xfinity Series. It’s a ‘rhythm track’ and that seems to fit my driving style. Hopefully we can defend our ARCA victory there and tie the record for three-consecutive wins at the track. Most importantly, I’m anticipating that there will be some carry-over from the ARCA car to our XYO Network Camry in the Xfinity Series. We’re anticipating more throttle inputs in the center of the corner for the Xfinity car, which is similar to how the ARCA cars run. Hopefully the extra track time will help our efforts in both series.”

From the Pit Box
Chris Gabehart: “After a disappointing finish to a decent weekend at Pocono, everybody on the No.19 XYO Network team is eager to get to Michigan this weekend to rebound. We feel like as a company we all had good speed at Pocono and see no reason we can’t carry that success to Michigan this weekend with the second race of the year with the new aero package using the drafting ducts.”
