Ready To Battle For A Top Finish

This Week’s Nexteer Chevrolet Camaro at Michigan International Speedway
MDM Motorsports will make the trip to the Great Lakes State for the eighth race of the ARCA Racing Series (ARS) Presented by Menards season on Friday, June 16, for the running of the Corrigan Oil 200 at the Michigan International Speedway located in Brooklyn, Michigan. NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) star and last weekend’s ARS runner-up, Brandon Jones, will once again pilot an entry for the Mooresville, North Carolina, based organization. He will be joined by MDM Motorsports teammates, Sheldon Creed and Vinnie Miller.

Last season, Jones and MDM Motorsports scored the victory at the two-mile speedway. Creed will make his second start at the track, while hometown driver Miller, will make his debut there this weekend. As a team, MDM Motorsports will be looking for its third ARS win this season. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver, Justin Haley, scored the victory in the General Tire 200 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway on May 6, and Harrison Burton, son of former NASCAR star Jeff Burton, scored the victory in the Menards 200 at Toledo (Ohio) Speedway on May 21.

Brandon Jones, driver of the Nexteer No. 8
At 20-years-old, Jones enters Friday’s Corrigan Oil 200 as the veteran driver for MDM Motorsports. He won this event in 2016, driving for MDM Motorsports and looks to repeat this weekend. He finished second at Pocono Raceway last Friday after starting on the pole. Like last weekend, Jones will pull double duty and run both the ARS event and NXS event at Michigan International Speedway.

“After having such a dominant car last weekend, I’m really hopeful that we’ll be able to get our Nexteer Chevrolet back in Victory Lane at Michigan International Speedway. Nexteer’s Headquarters are just two hours north of the track, so I know we’re going to have a big cheering section on Friday afternoon. If we can just get a bit of luck to fall in our favor, I think you’ll see our No. 8 MDM Motorsports team battling up front.”

Event Time
The Corrigan 200 at Michigan International Speedway is schedule for Friday, June 16 at 6:00p ET live on FOX Sports 1.
