Brandon Jones, driver of the No. 8 Anderson’s Maple Syrup Chevrolet
Jones enters Friday’s General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 at Pocono Raceway as the veteran for MDM Motorsports with three career ARS victories. The 20-year-old driver finished third in the ARS Pocono Raceway event last season driving for MDM Motorsports. He also scored a top-10 finish in the NXS event at the track last summer. In addition to his duties behind the wheel of the No. 8 Anderson’s Maple Syrup Chevrolet, he will also pilot the No. 33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing in Saturday’s NXS Pocono Green 250.
“Our Anderson’s Maple Syrup team is headed into this weekend’s race at Pocono on a mission. We were headed for victory lane last year, but a blend line violation leaving pit road midway through the race cost us the win. You hate to lose a race because of something like that, so we’re definitely looking for redemption this weekend. We’ll have the ARCA Racing Series test at the track on Wednesday, so that will give us some extra time to work on the car and focus on our line around the Tricky Triangle.”
The ARS General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 at Pocono Raceway is scheduled for June 9 at 5:30p ET live on FOX Sports 1.
